Use this form:

When you wish to convert a provisional title to a property to absolute title, and the 12 year period for challenge has elapsed (which is now applicable to all cases).

Provisional title was granted during the 1970's adjudication process where clear title to a property could not be established, allowing a 12 year period for any challenge to occur.  After 12 years elapses the provisional owner may apply to convert the title.


Submission Requirements

In submitting this form you should enclose the following (where applicable):

  • Completed submission record, ensuring checklist to the rear of the form is completed
  • Details of the Adjudication Record, or reference to it
  • Removal of any Restrictions or Cautions (if required)

Forms (Mandatory)

When completing the form ensure that:

  • Reference is made to the adjudication record number, and the date stated on the record whereupon clear title (and the right to convert the title) would be deemed to be established.
  • Full names are stated (or as recorded on the existing Register), with signatures witnessed by a Justice of the Peace, Notary Public or member of authorised Land Registry staff, and correctly dated. Notary Public’s whose commissions do not expire must state so on the Registration Form.  The signatures of authorised personnel of local banks do not require witnessing.   
  • Full address is stated, including postal / zip code
  • Amendments are initialed by all parties. The use of correction fluid is not permitted
