GIS Solutions

The Lands & Survey Department has been developing its Geospatial Data Infrastructure (GDI) since 1991. Since then many aspects of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) implementation have been addressed, particularly as they relate to small island nations.

The department has gained valuable experience which could save new users time and money when developing their own system. For users with existing data resources, we can provide guidance on GIS configuration and creation, customisation of the user interface, and ongoing systems development.

Lands & Survey's NGIS team can advise on a range of GIS Solutions, including:

  • Data Capture
  • Data Modeling
  • Application Development
  • Data Formats
  • GPS
  • Digital Orthophotography
  • GIS System Design
  • Cartographic Production & Publication
  • Customisation
  • GIS Training
  • Internet mapping
  • Research and Analysis

Should you wish to avail yourself of the range of skills that we can provide, please contact the GIS Manager.
