Lands and Survey Sections

The Lands & Survey Department comprises the following service sections linked by a common dealing and involvement in land.

The Director of Lands & Survey, oversees all sections on the list below.

Section Function
Registry Records all title records.
National Geographic Information Systems Coordinates deployment of geospatial solutions and provides application development, cartographic mapping and database management services.
Survey Carries out all Government survey work and regulates surveying practice on the islands.
Valuation & Estates Office Deals with land valuation, stamp duty, and the acquisition and management of land and buildings on behalf of government.
Administration & Finance Provides support to all departmental operations.
Lands Office (Cayman Brac) The Lands & Survey satellite office at Stake Bay on Cayman Brac.

Lands & Survey is also involved in several government Boards and Committees.
