Appointment & Re-appoi ntment to the Valuation Panel


Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably experienced Chartered Valuation firms for appointment & re-appointment to the Valuation & Estates Office (VEO) Valuation Panel for 2023/2025 (effective 1st October 2023 to 30th September 2025).
Applicant firms must demonstrate that their staff comprises fully qualified RICS Registered Valuers, working for RICS Regulated Firms and must provide a statement of their recent valuation experience.

Position Description:

Salary Range: CI$62,508 - $84,036
Job Type: FULL-TIME

Applications are invited from exceptional candidates with a strong programming skillset emphasizing their ability to develop technically sound GIS applications using various development tools and technologies. The applicant should enjoy working in a creative, agile team environment with technical team members to plan, develop, test, and deliver innovative spatial products to our users.

The post-holder must possess at minimum a Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems, Computer Science, or related programming discipline, plus 4 years of industry experience OR a Master's degree in Geographical Information Systems, Computer Science, or related programming discipline, plus 2 years of industry experience, ideally within an environment that has given significant exposure to spatial concepts.

The ability to apply programming concepts to Geospatial information is a fundamental requirement of this post. Formal training in software development and programming techniques applicable to GIS and/or RDBMS is essential. The post-holder should also understand systems administration within a networked client-server architecture utilizing the Windows operating system.
